In September a whole bunch of new kiddos signed up for lesson with us. It has been a delight teaching them. This Christmas we are planning a mini-recital during the last lesson of the year, and we put together cute sticker/candy packs with encouraging greeting cards for each student to collect after the recital.

It sounds like you have been having a great time teaching your new students, and I'm sure they have enjoyed their lessons as well! The idea of a mini-recital during the last lesson of the year is a great way to celebrate the students' progress and give them a chance to show off what they have learned. The sticker/candy packs with encouraging greeting cards is a nice touch, and will provide a fun and rewarding reward for the students' hard work. Well done on putting together such a thoughtful and fun end-of-year celebration for your students!

Thanks Rhona 😊. The recital is on Sunday and the students are performing the Music For Little Mozart’s recital story “The Magical Music Book.” They are even going to sing while they play. Yay! We are all super excited!
