Review, Review, Review

This year, we are not running the "Fantastic 30" challenge for the students to learn 30 pieces before the end of the school year. Instead, our theme is review, review, review. 

As we try to produce strong musicians with solid understanding of music theory,  we have set review targets for the students.

• Each piece must be played to recital level at 3 separate lessons for it to be classed as "complete."
• During the lesson, we randomly select a piece the students have already learned. They get  5 minutes to  review it on mute, and then they have to perform it to the class. 
• Almost every lesson we finish with a theory review game. It is surprising how students that know every nuance of every game on Roblox can forget the name of a treble clef that they see every week :)
